PLOT
The film tells about the history of the Holocaust through the stories of its unwitting witnesses… Through the history of a pair of women's shoes, which begins in the shop's show-window and ends in the show-window of Auschwitz. Through the history of the German Shepherd puppy, which turns into a killer. Through the history of the violin, which goes through all the horrors of the war.

STILLS
FILMING
The project was filmed over the course of five years in nine countries: Russia, Belarus, Czech Republic, Poland, France, USA, Israel, Romania, and Ukraine. The film is dedicated to the memory of the victims of World War II and the Holocaust, and was created with the financial support of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.
PREMIERE AND RECOGNITION
The film premiered on January 27, 2018, becoming the main event of the International Holocaust Remembrance Day. It won several awards at Russian film festivals and was released in theaters in July 2018. However, a distinctive feature of the film's implementation is its episodic structure. Each episode, essentially a standalone short film, had its own festival destiny.
